An ethical person does more than what is required and less than what is allowed. This is a good yardstick to measure ethics.

mell, so just because something is legal that makes it right? Keep in mind that it was legal to own slaves once upon a time not to long ago. Or are you just against freedom of speech? I do not snag, gaff, shock, noodle or fish spawning beds or fish with worms and if this makes me an" uppity fly fisherman" getreal in your opinion then you have a right to your opinion, leave me to mine. I fish for SPORT but if I were starving, most likely, I would snag, gaff, shock, noodle and fish spawn beds with worms no matter if it was legal or not. IF anyone asks DO tell them that I am a uppity fly fisherman using only bamboo fly rods and dry flies casting exclusively to trout.But do not let them know that I already wore out a dozen shimanos fishing from coast to coast catching all that swims and have even been seen bow fishing most of the Texas rivers, as this would only tarnish my image of "uppity" and this bare footed country boy likes being called uppity.

I plan to fish this afternoon. I would like to get me a limit of big ol fat crappies. I don't give a big fat rats a#% what anyone thinks about it. Tomorrow and Sunday I plan to do it again. And when it gets really cold.. No telling how many bigguns, I'll post pictures of just before they hit the kanife!!! May eat 'em, may freeze 'em. I don't suggest anyone on the banks or anywhere else to try and stop me. You have your right to your opinion, but you also have a right to keep it to yourself. Rudy, you go catch as many as you like..post as many pics as you like. And I wouldn't give a rip what anyone comes on here and says about it. This is a FISHING FORUM. I use BARBED hooks, and I set the HOOK hard!! If his eye pops out out no problem, I don't eat the eyes.

Besides, Rudy never posts pics of limits, and rarely takes limits home. Thats good for him. I like limits. I fish for limits. It really gets under my skin when someone comes on here and tells someone how to fish. Other than how to catch fish.
