And here is the November 2010 Catfish Calendar.

Worthy of note, is that our "Freezer Run" during the Turkey Day (Thanksgiving Holidays) Trip gets hit hard, as the Saturday & Sunday after T-Day are ZIP. So it will be an interesting trip. We set lines out on Limestone the weekend before & it starts our 2010-2011 catfishing season.

If you need the KEY, just back up a few posts to the October Catfish Calendar.

Not a problem. Just remember that rod-n-reelers have an advantage, especially if they have access to a boat & a fish finder. The catfish calendar applies to basically 66% to 75% of catfish (and of course the calendar applies to Yellows/Ops & Blues) normal feeding & roaming patterns.

Take for instance me (as a person, not a catfish), I took a nap this afternoon & extended it until after midnight & got about 8 hours sleep. So I was off my normal sleeoping, feeding and such patterns. But in a few hours, I will readjust back into the normal groove by going to work. Then basically the rest of the week will be norm.

Except that in the PM, I will be getting things ready for the start of this Fishing season (November 2010 until May or July 2011). Set-out planned for Sunday AM 21st on Lake Limestone out of Running Branch Marina. Then be back Wednesday afternoon, hopefully in time to run lines before (or get well started before dark).

One question for "mustan92g", what does a "." mean in board or text lingo?

Hey Lynn, thanks for the info, and write-up..I'll be giving this a go tis weekend and let you know how it went. I will be using rod and reel so hopefully that won't affect the bite. I do have a boat and fishfinder so I will be on the hunt. One question, you stated as a tip to use the solunar tables..what do you mean by this, and what should I look for?

I do not know much about the solunar tables, but some swear by them. They used to print out a chart in A.C.A.T.S. magazine. Ron used to have a watch that showed him when to go fishing. I think it had incorporated the solunar tables into it. Best thing I guess, is start a new thread titled "Solunar Tables" and ask if anybody has access to them & where you can find them.

The thing about the Catfish Calendar as to set lines, is that I can run them, rebait them, and come back the next day to reap the benefits. But I won't know exactly when the bit.

But if you rod-n-reel or drift along your juglines, you never know when (what time of the day, evening, or night) they are going to bite in the similar manner (as to while you are there). That's why I suggest using the solunar tables in conjunction with the catfish calendar. That way you capitalize & hit them hard as they intersect.

Later tonight, I'll try & do some Web searching to see if I can find the solunar tables anywhere online. Sol is Sun while Lunar is Moon, so that gives you an idea that it has to do with various phases & conjunctions which create in a sense, a "pull". Certain phases can cause or induce fish to bite much better

Thanks Nibbler, as to possible uses of "."

OK, "jgutierrez1975",

Here's a freebie site you can get a solunar table from, as to major & minor feeding times. <http://www.solunarforecast.com/>

Just remember to punch in the zip code of the lake or near area that you will be fishing in or on. I don't know the variance, but you want the table to be charted as near as possible to where you are fishing.

The November is posted already. Back up a few posts.

Tell you what, I'll try to go ahead & post the December one (earlier than normal here on the TFF) before the end of this weekend. That way you can map out your Blues & Yellows days further in advance.

If you want to get them by the quarters (3 months), send nme your E-dress & I'll put you on my free Catfish Calendar Crew email list (I send it by BCC to cloak everybody's E-dresses). I send updates, new research, tips & such about 4 to 6 times a year. 4 of those will include the RTF version of the calendar (attachment)for 3 months (the quarter that is coming up).

My E-dress is <hlynnh@peoplepc.com>

"cedarcreekevin41",

As requested, an early Christmas present is in the next post- the December 2010 calendar so you can plan a bit further ahead. Back up a few posts in this thread to see the Key, as I previously noted.

Here is the way I set up/distribute the catfish calendar:
1) I 1st set up the calendar on a manual (hard copy) calendar in September or October for the following year.
2) I then assemble it in RTF version/format and then have it on my computer.
3) I send a copy of the RTF calendars of the following year in to Jody of Central Texas Catfish [free].
4) I then transfer the data into my calendar program on computer.
5) To those on my Catfish Calendar Crew email list, they get the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th Quarters (3 months at a time), along with pics, captions (stories), updates & tips a few days or more ahead (trying to eventually get it out the month before) of the start of the Quarter [free].
6) Then I post one month at a time on the TFF board a few days before the month is about to begin [free].
7A) However, when I finally compile the hardcopy (printed) calendars (the past 2 years), then all of the months are accessible. I am hoping that 2011 printed calendars will be ready before Christmas 2010. I have kept the selling price to about what it costs me. Just so you I definitely am not getting rich. 2009 was $14.50 & 2010 was $15.00 [not free]
7B) Darrell & Nancy at Running Branch get a free printed copy, as does Jody of Central Texas Catfish.

Anyway, I'll post the December 2010 calendar a bit early now.
