300grams way too heavy for the dam. Try out 250g jigs. How big were the fish moon?? I am looking for some meat in the freezer since my uncle just asked me about some fish and pointed out that I've been off my game lately.

I don't really know what to type here.

Great job Moon.. U own that whole section of the dam left and right... I thought about joining you today, but had to go to the hospital for my wife's regular check up...

the weather wasn't as hot, 96 highest today after 18 days straight of > 100+.

IGS, u know this guy, flounderguru from kayakfishing. man his nickname speaks for itself. The man is the best flounder killer i've ever seen... gets his limit all around year everytime he hit the water.. GSC seems to be the spot for flounders and mangoves. pm you his setup, nothing special, but check it out anyway for the future reference..

I did not fish lake side before. Only site seing couple of times. Today's good fortune may be just one day luck. I will try it again, want to find out a consistent way to catch fish over there.

Dinky, flounder fishing does not require anything special. Those fish are dumb as chit. Why do you think any dodo can go and gig for them? You need to stop overthinking every aspect of fishing, and just go and get you some. For flounder, this is all you need: 30lb flourocarbon line, a 1/0 octopus or circle hook, 1/4oz-3/4oz egg weight, a swivel, and live mullet.
