Is not that uncommon of a setup have seen it many times It allows you to transport 2 boats at a time Or a boat and a camping trailer It also handles better then you think on a dually I doubt it is any worse then the duallys pulling a trailer to and from auction with 3 or 4 cars on top.

Payload on a drw like that one is something like 6k+ lbs. Unless thats a ranger up there it shouldn't be close to exceeding any weight limits.

That boat and trailer is probably well within the truck's cargo capacity. Cars on a trailer are a LOT safer than a loaded dually with a high center of gravity. The dually is rated to tow a LOT more weight than it is rated to carry. Modern duallies all have a cargo capacity over 5K pounds and towing capacity over 18K pounds. That boat and trailer weighs maybe 2k pounds, maybe a little more. Take it easy braking and turning.

That would be a cool thing for camping with a trailer, but I agree I wouldnt want to have to stop quickly. BTW someone was selling something that was similar to this idea, but I dont think it had the trailer with the boat. I think it opperated off of hydrolics.
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst
