Just yesterday I was out mowing the yard and noticed the dryer vent door stuck open. I was sticking my hand in there pulling out all the old lint. Glad I did not get any surprises like this in mine. I am going out there right now to fix that vent door.

I learned my lesson about keeping the vent door free of lint this spring. Fortunately it was not a snake. For several weeks I was hearing noises near my utility room and the dog and car were very interested in the area. I then noticed some lint behind the dryer and the utility room getting a little warm. The mice had chewed through the vent hose. My wife and kids do a lot more laundry than I do but expecting them to notice something wrong would be asking too much.

Yes it did. I like carp my pants. The first time I saw it, it was dark in there. I thought it was a broken heater coil or something(glad I didn't just grab it). Then I got my spot light to see what it was and I like to have jumped back through the wall.

This all took place during the day on Saturday. My wife left for the lake to do some stuff with the women teacher staff members and I got pizza for my son and I. I am getting ready for bed and walk in to the kitchen to turn on the light and get a glass of water and I step on a freaking toad frog in the kitchen. I am like. Am I getting invaded by the amphibian world?
