I think you will be very happy with the Remington. My son got a Stoeger 12 pump. It was $20 more then Remington 870 he was looking at but it came with 5 chokes, where as the Remington had 1. It was $299. We go shoot out at Field and Stream by the airport. You can stop in at the office on Southwest Pkwy and get a membership, it is right behind the new pond by the family YMCA. I think it is $25. I got carded last night and mine was not up to date so I have to go get mine also. It is $40 for a family membership. They do shoots on the weekend and you can go anytime you want during the week. They give you a combination to the gate. It is the only place I know of where you can shoot. They have a 10, 25, 50 and 100 yard range as well as trap and skeet stations. They also have a field shooting range with all sorts of angle for shot gunning.

With a 30-.06 Sam, you can move right on up to the moose category. You're armed. Jerry

As you're heading through Lawton going north just keep looking into the woods over on the left and you'll finally see some elk. Just pull over to the left so you're only shooting across the southbound land of I44 and shoot away. If you nail one or more, go up to the crossover, come back on the access road and drive over to the fence where your one or more elk lay. (I always use bolt cutters to cut the fence.) Sam, you're into meat big time.

Charlie that beats my hunting. I go to buffalo lake at night armed with a sledge hammer and a flashlight. My version of cow tipping. Just kidding!!

Vetro, you hen-pecked would-be fisherman, where are you? Sam and I need you (and your boat) so we can take the pontoon boat out safely. Let's bait out some catfishing places and fish the hell out of them Saturday???????

Do any of you guys know if there is a ramp or a road that is close to the river area on Arrowhead? My nephew said he and his buddy have been fishing stumps in the river and catching some really nice crappie. I didn't even know there was a river @ Arrowhead.
