Wait, big bass and Ray Hubbard in the same sentence, really? Just kidding, I used to hate Hubbard but after spending quite a bit of time there it's not so bad. Good fish are there it's just tough to find them.

Think there will be a 5-7 lber brought in every hour?

And a 9 lber to win?

IDK sounds a little high to me, but then again its been pretty good this year.

Sounds REALLY high for the crappy Hubbard.
BUT on the Hubbard Creek tournament, that sounds about right!

thumb [/quote RH is not so "crappy". Took a 5 and 7lbr to weigh in last night. Just takes some time to learn the lake. Also caught a great deal of fish last night as well. Last Tuesday night too.

Never implied that RH was great fishery. It's not. But it's certainly not a "crappy one either. There is a lot folks on this forum that do well on RH.

Agreed, Ray Hubbard is not a fantastic lake but it can be good. Here is a link that I posted a while back about one of my days on Ray Hubbard. This is better than I have ever done on Fork without a guide. And, no, none of my fishing was done anywhere near the river. All fish were caught between the dam and I-30.

Yea, for a lake that sucks so bad, can anyone tell me of any other metro mess lake that has produced two stringers over 30 lbs in one tourney?
