Waurika in the late afternoon from 6 to 8 is really good, just out from the marina, look for a dirty white bouey. Troll with deep diving crankbaits that will bounce off the muddy bottom.
They are really good and you get huge fillets, I also remove the red meat at the lateral line since it was recommended to improve the taste.

How about we meet about 7:30? That might be a little early for the kids? I'll bring the minnows in case we need them. Let me know.

Hey guys. It has been too long since I was able to get out. I do enjoy checking in and seeing yall are getting out. I wish I had a boat to get out with you. The last time I went out my son and I got eaten up with bugs, and I lost about a gallon of water. I did try to replace it with other fluids!!!
With hunting season fast approaching does anyone have or know of a good spot for birds or deer?

Hey, Mike, good to hear from you again.
Sam and I and his kids went fishing Saturday morning from the Henrietta bridge. We were in my pontoon boat and it ran great out to the bridge. About an hour later, as we headed back to the bridge, the motor would do nothing but die. We drifted into shore and Sam had to walk and paddle the boat over to Pawnee Point. I was handling the rear in which mainly meant I was hanging on, trying not to drown, and acting as a drag for Sam's efforts. He finally rescued us. If you're going out on the lake fishing from a boat, folks, by all means take Sam with you. Jerry
