Actually I fished the north texas big bass oakley classic on lake lewisville.. and when we went and signed up for the tournament and got our oaklies KVD was there and we actually a pretty cool guy. He was personable and was a all around nice guy.. had no problem with conversing with his fans..

FZ1 no doubt KVD is the best - but skeet outfished him - numbers don't lie !! Im not the smartest turnip in the bushel but how is this right???? look at the numbers ??? If im right Skeet beat him 5 out of 6 times - winning one more and gettin a second in another. These two guys are not even my favorite anglers so im usually not pullen for either of them to win - but it just ain't right.

FZ1 : Ive watch you post here on the TFF ,ever since you signed up,9/17/09 . Your post have always been anti tournament,so you dont like tournaments.So why are you putting your 2 cents on this subject ???????? You should check into Arron Martins, fish not making it in the live well,thats more up your alley.Just Sayin.

I'm putting my .02 in because I think KVD is better than Skeet Reese. I don't mind the tournaments;I do mind the fish killing. Happy,now?

After reading about "poor" Skeet for the past week, I thought I would chime in.
When New England won every game except the Super Bowl, did everyone feel sorry for them? When the number 12 seed in basketball makes it to the final four, should they just give up and concede the victory to the number 1 seed?
I don't disagree that Skeet had a remarkable season, but all know the format going into the year...it's not that you are number 1 after 8 events, it's who's number 1 after 10 events.
Some were saying that Russ Lane had a distinct advantage on the first playoff lake, but doesn't he have to 1st make it into the playoffs?
