Hey Brady - clousers on fly rods did OK all day

The most fun I have, and my primary reason to go to the Brazos above 2114 is to seine bait, and then spend the day Canoe Standing and sight casting with lite line and BIG circle hooks and watch the fish.

If and when I get a cooperative partner to help seine to excess - just throwing bait and watching is as much fun as casting.

It is way cool to see the huge sluggish groups of buffalo, or silver drum, and fast cruising gizzard shads and those lightning quick flashes of sand bass. Often sandies don't strike as much as slash.

And - when you do it right, a hooked bass will attract another,and the second is usually bigger.

And gar are a pest, but awesome to see.
