I have not tried smallies on Texoma since the flood. I have heard rumors that it fell off a little. My brother and I were just talking about it last week.

Lake Murray, Ok is not far from Texoma. It is loaded with stream strain smallies. If you find them stacked up you can catch a ton of them. A 3lbs smallie is a big one on murray though. Beautiful lake to fish and loaded with bass.

There a good population of smallies in bridgeport the majority of them are not very big right now. I usually catch one everytime I go out now but I havent hooked a big one in years. Its taken me a couple years to find a place to catch them everytime I go out though.

Got this bad boy a while back...The larger Smallies are here, I guess you just have to find 'em!

I have a 6.6lb smallies as my personal best smallie on Bridgeport. I usually see the exact opposite yjough from you. I don't catch many but most are over 2-3lbs when I do catch them.
