That is a certified HOG! Jesus that guy looks like he reeled in Jabba the hut.
Does anyone think there are blues bigger then that?

Does anyone think there are blues bigger then that? I think there are still blues bigger than that, probably even some in Texas waters. Cody's old world record of 121 out of Texoma surely was not the biggest blue in that lake. Tawakoni might see too much pressure to ever produce one but I have no doubt that it could. I figure the next record will come from the Mississippi or a lake like Wheeler in Alabama.

Its just hard to imagine them getting much bigger. But there are always genetic freaks out there. I wonder how long it took to reel in?

Definately bigger cats around, and I believe they got big because they are smart. No telling how many times people got "hung up" thinking they were snagged on a log or something and broke off. If I remember right Cody's old record on Texoma, thought he was pulling in a log because it was all dead weight until the fish finally put up a little fight.

That is a monster fish.
I'm sorry, but if it comes down to the fish dieing or getting it certified, I'm letting the fish go. I would love to have a record like that but I would much rather have the fish alive and back in its habitat.

I would think that until a person is in that quandry it would be hard to say what they would do. Sure would be fun to have that problem though LOL.
