Goodell and Franklin won with one fish for 5.3 lbs. It took less than 2 lbs to get a check. 19 boats.

Hope you guys don't mind a post from a non-tournament fisherman. I have fished Worth 1-2 times a week, always in early morning, for the last 7 years since I retired. This year has been the worst for numbers and size. On my last 3 trips I've caught about 15 dinks, the only bright spot being a 5 pounder on back to back trips on a buzzbait at first light. I like to watch this thread to see how you pros are fairing on Worth - in this case, misery loves company I guess! Good luck to you all.

Marooned, we dont mind you posting here at all sir! It has been one heck of a tough year on ole Worth.. the long winter and huge amounts of July rainfall really has the fish doing some strange things, and not relating to the normal stuff like they have in the past.

Well guys, This is one of the guys that got DQ lastnight over apparerntly being late.
I just wanted to take the time out and clarify a few things,
Vince and Buda put this tournament on. I have talked to 6 other people that fished lastnight and we said that we think that either buda or vince come in at least 15 min before and be standing on that dock to check time of people showing up.which ever one is hosting the tournament.
apparently AT&T time is not lowrance time assuming everyone that fishes has a lowrance.
Never been one to make waves.

It sucks that you guys worked that hard to catchem and and you guys got dq'ed. Both of ya are stand up guys and good fisherman and good friends, I hope the bad taste in ur mouth does not keep y'all from coming out anymore. We were already out of the water so I did not see who was coming in or what, anyway i hope to see y'all Sunday or Wednesday. I think lowrance and AT&T should get there clocks on the same page!
