I am lookin to book an up upcoming trip to Lake Fork and need some names and numbers of experienced guides. The one I had in mind is obviously booked up because he won't return my phone calls or emails. Thanks everybody!

Are any of those better than the others? I'm goin with a friend who is kinda behind the curve on bass fishing. Need somebody that will make sure he still catches fish without gettin frustrated.

And no Fatheree? Call a few and talk with them best way. My top five to call would be in no order, Fatheree, Caldemeyer, Vick, Wright, and Tanner.

Fatherree has a fresh, customer service driven guide service on Fork. He's great at TEACHING new fisherman and making it fun. Steve shares more tips, tricks, and great spots to fish than any other guide i've ever fished with! www.mylakeforkguide.com Got some cool vids too.

I have used John Tanner and James Caldemeyer and both are excellent. Have a family friend that uses Lance Vick and has nothing but great things to say about him. I really think most all of the guides are good and provide a good trip or they would not stay in business especially on Lake Fork with so much competition. Problem is finding one with an open date that matches yours. Good luck!

Fatheree, Caldemeyer, Tanner. Guess those would be my top 3 picks. All those are super guides on Fork, have great personalities and work really hard to make your day on the water a great one! There are some other great guides on Fork. But, I haven't personally met any of the others. Just mentioning the ones I know personally.

I had no idea there were that many guides on Fork! Wow!!!!

And... Happy Birthday!!!!
