THE FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES FOR
THE RIO GRANDE AT DEL RIO.
* UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...OR UNTIL THE WARNING IS CANCELLED.
* AT 8:15 PM MONDAY THE STAGE WAS 13.8 FEET (4.2 METERS).
* FLOOD STAGE IS 4.0 FEET (1.2 METERS).
* MAJOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MAJOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FORECAST...
THE RIVER CRESTED AT 14.6 FEET OR 4.4 METERS THIS EVENING AND IS NOW FALLING.
LAKE AMISTAD HAS INCREASED THEIR RELEASES TO 500 CMS OR 17000 CFS THIS EVENING
AND WILL RAISE THEM TO 1000 CMS OR 35000 CFS BY TUESDAY MORNING. THE RIVER
WILL FALL TO 7.4 FET OR 2.2 METERS BY LATE TUESDAY EVENING. IT WILL THEN RISE
TO 10 FEET OR 3 METERS BY THURSDAY EVENING.
* IMPACT...AT 14.0 FEET...(4.3 METERES)...OVER A HUNDRED HOMES FLOOD IN THE VEGA
VERDE SUBDIVISION BELOW AMISTAD DAM WITH WATER TO THE ROOFS OF SOME. SMALLER
HOMES AND MOBILE HOMES WASH DOWNSTREAM. FLOW IS OVER A HALF MILE WIDE IN THE
FLOOD PLAIN BETWEEN AMISTAD DAM AND HIGHWAY 377 IN LIFE THREATENING CONDITIONS
ON THE US AND MEXICAN SIDES.

Went out last night but din't do well. We were junk fishing for the most part and couldn't really find a pattern.My partner did catch 3 of the better fish with a DD22 nothing bigger than 2.5 to 3 lbs. We caught dinks on TX rigged lizard,buzzbait,shaky head,and senko. We fished Evans creek and San Pedro for the most part from 3pm till around 9pm
