A few months ago i went into BPS to get some Team Catfish 8/0 circle hooks. They have always been 3 hooks for $3.00. When i went in, they were 2 hooks for $3.00. I questioned one of the guys there and he was unaware of this. Flipped the package over and sure enough - only 2 hooks.

At any rate, shortly after that i took a trip to Dave's by dennison dam and he had them - 3 hooks/$3.00. I asked if was recent stock and he said "yes".

So, did Team Catfish change the quantity for the major stores?

I have since then switched to Diiachi 7/0 chunk circle hooks which are identical to the Team Catfish brand. Work great.

The folks that package and sell my Double Action hooks made a mistake. The prices on the red hooks went W A Y up from our supplier. Only the red 8/0 hooks were supposta change from 3 to 2 per pack. The folks at TTI are working on this issue and it should be corrected soon.

Until our costs go down on the red 8/0 hooks they won't be available at TeamCatfish.com in bulk. You can still get the 12, 50, or 100 packs of black nickel 8/0 at the same prices we have always had.

A buck fifty for a HOOK somethin WRONG here and I thought $7.50 a HUNDRED was high on Ebay and go ahead and say ya get what ya pay for BUT Ive seen one of those $1.50 hooks straight as a nail tryin to keep a flatty out of some timber yes on rod and reel thumbed spool. I dont blame Jeff Id probly sell um for $2 apiece as long as people are buyin them. When the only hooks that ull catch fish cost $1 apiece Ill give up fishin and sell all my chit------Clearin what up???? I understood him to say the red 8/0 are supposed to be 2@$3.00

Yeah well the T-catfish hooks are not going to straighten out i used them this week on the coast catching kings never missed a beat sharp and strong as well you get it 2$ and i dont have to worrie about the holding or no money well spent!

Nothing against Red hooks but it is the first color of the light spectrum that disappears at a certain level in the water. Below about 10 feet or so in the water, red will actually disappear. So why pay extra for a red coating that pills off and your left with just another gold hook!

If you like red, pink, blue, striped colors or chartreuse color on your hooks just heat your favorite hook up then dip in powder coat paint like Pro-Tech $5.69 2oz.! Good for about 200 hooks

I have bought plenty of Team catfish hooks they are good hooks, but at that price? I'll go with the eagle claws from Cabelas. I can totally understand the business aspect of it though. A company will continue to raise the prices as long as there is a high demand for the item.

I noticed they went to 2 packs as well. The red hooks flake paint after two trips. The last 3 packs of TC 8/0 hooks i had everylast one the tip folded over. I kept them as a backup hook and to just give back a little to the catfish company. At those prices i will not continue especially if the tips bend over. I could care less though if the red flakes becuase the cats dont care. I mainly use the gamagatsu 8/0 oct circle hook. Have been for 5 years and you can get them in 25 packs for $12. Never had a issue with 1 hook.

We have never raised our prices on the 1/0, 3/0, 5/0, or 8/0 black nickel hooks in the 12, 50, or 100 packs. The TeamCatfish.com website has been goin since 2007!!

Didnt see anything here about 1/0 3/0 5/0 or 8/0 black hooks this was about dollar fifty EACH 8/0 red hooks care to comment on those, by the way Mr team catfish have you heard anything about straighting out your 8/0 hooks? think someone sent ya a pic of it. OH CHIT MY BAD the straight hook was a 8/0 black un, I most sincerely apologize just goes back to dam cheap hooks aint worth a chit 12 for $11.95 or 100 for $99.95
