Our family is getting together over the weekend in Granbury for the 4th. My bother n law and I are very new to fishing and was wanting to try out my new reel this weekend. Does anyone have any advice on where some good spots are to fish from the bank. I have never fished Lake Granbury and dont know the area to well.

granbury is a tough lake...i dont know the lake very well and have never had much luck there. i have seen some folks bank fishing down near the dam at the park down there. Might be worth a try--there is a ramp and small area yu can sit and bank fish. good luck.

Depends on where on the lake you are. Ive caught a few cats out by the damn. Cats crappie and bass can be caught over on the fishing dock at HWY51 or at Rough Creek Park over off of 144.
