Good advise Mark.
If you remember, I don't just keep fish unless there is a reason for it.
As I've told you before, I only keep 10 during a tourney and cull back to the lake.
But only if they can survive.
I was in my buddy's boat, he's a LMB guy but he was wanting to pick up some tips on crappie and take some home for supper.
It was the least I could do for him.
Thanks for the usual warm welcome back to your lake.

You have got to be kidding me. rolleyesMy neighbors love the gifts of fish since they don't get to go fishing anymore. I don't think I am hurting the fishery any. Crappie proliferate like rats and I certainly throw back plenty of keeper fish. I am not paid to guide people and help them limit out. I'll keep doing it my way.

And this is coming from a guy that posts on his website that he limits out on whitebass just about everyday with 75 to 150 fish at a time. Mack has paid for his fishing license just like everyone else and has decided to keep his LEGAL catch for a friend's supper. He doesn't need someone in his ear telling him to release his catch when that person keeps more fish than him in a days time than he does in a month.

I gave 15 nice ones to a dad and his 5 and 6 year old boys yesterday. They had been fishing all morning like me and only had 1 catfish in the cooler. I felt very proud to give them my catch.

I bet you won't go tell my 70 year old Aunts that I can't give away any more crappie because it 'disrespects' them. bolt
