When mine got wet I just opened it up and used a blow dryer on it. It work fine after that.

Samsung Rugby or Rugby II. Get you one of these, they're waterproof. Wash it in the washing machine, throw it in the dryer, or go for swim. Heck, make calls while your swimming. It will survive, and you don't have to wait for anything to dry before you use it again.

Along the same lines, Casio sells a series of waterproof (and rugged otherwise) phones under the Gzone brand.
I carry one as a backup when kayaking (it is my kid's phone normally, but.......).

I was told to attach a drinking straw to a vacuum, and use it to suck the water out of any hole on the phone, then blow dry any visible water, and then throw it in a bag of rice for 7 days..
It saved an iphone that went 6 feet deep!
mmmm fish!

Usually if you let them dry before turning it back on it will work fine...It might take a week but thats better than spending teh bucks on a new phone...

I dunked a phone in a cup of water while driving down the road and a few days later it worked fine key is letting it dry completely before turning it back on and I would say keep out of freezer if you freeze it and it still has condensation the moment it thaws I suspect you may have issues..

Blow Dryer. Let it set for a week or so. We had an Ipod that went through the washing machine. We let it set for over a year and then one day, it just powers up on it's own.

Been there done that! The rice didn't work for me, luckily I had an old cheaper phone to get me through until I got another decent one! FYI- my wife says its not good to drop a phone in the bath either! The rice thing worked for her phone- go figure!

Dunk it in plain ole rubbin alcahol, then let dry. The alcahol will get rid of any moisture.
