They now have five owner's tournaments. We may have missed our chance. The last time I checked into fishing an owners' tournament they only had two; one in Kentucky (east) and the other in California (west). They added Florida, Midwest, and Northeast. We can only hope the Midwest or the Northeast didn't preform and entice them to bring one of them to TEXAS.

I sent this to TEXAS Boat World and Cliff is working on it. Belton Lake sponsered by the Harker Heights Chamber. Way to early to know for sure but it is being talked about.

It's a Triton, so join the party. I just hope we can bring it here.

Update:
Received a call back from Bernie at Triton. The factory only sponsors the Tenn/CA events. It is the local dealer picking up the slack at the other venues.
Bernie suggested we give H&W a call, as they have a lot invested in the Triton program. I will give them a shout and report back.
Bernie is thinking he would like to have some regional events, then take a handful from each regional and having a championship, but that idea is still in the works.

Shoot yeah! Anything anybody can do to help would be great. I included this thread in my email to Chris Knight (GM of the Tyler location), so hopefully they'll see the interest.
