I have contacted H&W Marine, just hoping to hear back from them. I think in the mean time, we should probably come up with some lakes to propose. I would think a lake like Rayburn would be close to the top. Big body of water with plenty of lodging. We might could post this topic on bassboatcentral, in the Triton forum for some response.

BTW - Count me in! Bernie is the one that said I need to talk to H&W. The factory is only handling the Tenn-Ky/CA events. Local dealers are doing the others.

I can't believe they charge a small fee to register used owners if they want to enter in the tourney. If you have a clean title, that should be all you need.

its only like 10 bucks and i think that is just to cover the paperwork on it with them, i dont mind paying it for sure, did strike me as odd though, but i guess someone could just borrow one for a triton tourny or something, just something else i guess to deal with.

I can't believe they charge a small fee to register used owners if they want to enter in the tourney. If you have a clean title, that should be all you need. I bought my Triton used as well and had it registered so I could keep the hull warranty. It covered me up to ten years, mine is a 2001 my hull warranty expires in 2011. When I transferred the owner info to my name the requirement was you had to be the second owner to qualify. I also qualified for Triton Gold but my boat is so old that offer has expired. I think it was worth the 100 dollars; but I never cashed a check on the Triton Gold. I did get a bunch of Triton hats and goodies every year for the 20 dollars I paid for Triton Gold registration. That too has changed now they send you a back a 20 dollar coupon toward product from the company store with a flyer full of product. My boat is too old to pay any real Triton Gold so I quit participating in that program. All that aside; I still want to fish an owners tournament. Its going to be a good time for all the Triton brotherhood here in the great state of TEXAS!
