I was wandering what heavy hooks or strong hooks you use... I was night fishing Fork last week and lost the chance at my first DD fish, she stripped drag left then right and when she came 3 feet from the side of the boat she took one look at me and turned and dove straitening my Mustad 4/0 hook. I never want that to happen again! I didn't sleep very well the next few nights...

Operator error. Shoulda hit your free spool. FZ1 has never had a hook straighten. FZ1's tackle is perfectly matched. Your hook,line,rod,and drag setting,must be complementary.
