Can you run Dolan Falls in a whitewater kayak at the levels you saw, or would you need more water?

I'm interested in taking the trip for whitewater, but to heck with a bunch of dragging or portaging.

I would think you could run Dolan Falls, but the hydraulics where all three creeks come together at the bottom would be hairy, IMO.

The SNA to Blue Sage would be a fun run in a lightly loaded whitewater kayak at around 500 cfs or better.

I think your time would be better spent on other river if that is what you're after. Unless you are able to plan a last minute trip right after some rain. Usually, when the river is low, the rapids are fun, but not very difficult.

Can you run Dolan falls? Possibly. I would hate to see what happens if you fall out of your 'yak though.

Nice writeup and pics. I'm suprised you don't have your own personal blog about these experiences.
