Lone Star Paralyzed Veterans of America is sponsoring the Texas leg of the PVA BASS sanctioned tour June 11 to June 13,2010 (this weekend).
This tournament pairs disabled anglers with able bodied boat captains for good prizes and money.
However,you will find it is a great way to help others and yourself,too.
We are currently short a few boats and boat captains.Please conact us immediately so we can insure this is another successful Texas tournament.

This is a 2 day event. Saturday you are the boat captain. Your PVA angler fishes and you help them as needed. You win what they win. Second day y'all fish as a team. You are the boater and boat captain.
Entry is $50. PVA angler is required by the rules to pay for your gas. They feed you, provide water and snacks.

It's a great deal all the way around for the guys who are boaters/captains. You get dinner Friday and Saturday, food and drinks on the water, and gas money. And you have the opportunity to make a nice payday. But the most important part is that you get to take someone fishing who risked life and limb to provide us the freedom to do what we love. And you get to see my smiling face weighing your fish at the end of the day. What could be better than that??

But im not gonna gripe about some snacks Nate this makes no sense.... they chip in to pay for your gas just like any team tournament... most clubs have it in their bylaws that partners split gas and other expenses.... whats the complaint????
