The rules say they are suppose to pay for the gas and oil in full on the Open day and pay half on team day. It also states that the boater and non boater should discuss what is expected.... I agree with Nate.. They should not have to pay anything. They have sacrificed enough for us and our country.

I fished in the tournament last year and had a great time. Patnered with an individual that was an excellent fisherman. Don't under estimate their skills. Met one individual that is living life to the fullest, Awesome person.

It also states that the boater and non boater should discuss what is expected, Last year I had my partner buy me a fishing lure then sign it. Gas and Oil can be replace and easily forgetten, but a signed lure has memories that last forever.

Yes, i know some rules ie. FLW, state that the co angler is suppose to pay for gas, like pin tail said, i just wanted to pay for every thing out of kindness. thats it. i will have my form tomorrow, and will be at the meeting friday night.

so are they short PV'S or are they short boaters?

Some of these Paralyzed Veterans have boats but need a non boater. So if you are interested it would be worth your while. These guys are great sticks as mentioned above.


My favorite thing about fishing is any able and willing body can compete at the same level. Woman or man, fat or skinny, paralyzed or not. Greatness!!!!!

They probably need both Nate. As John said, some of the Vets bring their own boat, but need someone to fish with them. Same rules apply. You don't fish Saturday, and you partner on Sunday.

I was told earlier today that they still are in need of a couple of boaters as well.
