wrap a little lectrical tape around your thumb, and index finger, it will protect your fingers .
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

A little sandpaper thumb or a few fin sticks on the hand are all proudly worn battle scars, but I'll tell you something that isn't. I had a crappie fin me under the thumb nail two weeks ago and the end of my thumb is still numb. Also, all the skin is starting to peel off, and if I had to choose between a kick in the go-nads or this.....start kicking

If Im not bleeding in 3 or 4 spots on each hand I don't feel like I even went fishing. Its just the norm for me. If its not fins getting me Im sticking myself to the bone with a hook.

Ya - I had a hook under the thumb nail a few years ago - nothing to think you should worry about - that resulted in the emergency room 24 hours later - that resulted in having my thumb nail removed - but just Crappie and the old roughed up thumb - be proud and be loud - that is just a GOOOOD DAY,
GERM-X is a good thing - I use it every day for me and my customers,

No glove... No love....
Oh wait! Wrong forum!
Glove for Crappie. Not cool!
Nasty fingers that peel for two weeks after you go fishing. Very cool!

Guy, It will get festered up and come out. Years ago irrigating our hay field and throwing siphion tubes in the early dawn hours before the skeeters ate you up I shoved a thissle into my finger and it took a couple of weeks before my body decided it didn't belong there and it came out all on its own. Oh yea, sound like the guys with sore fingers from catching tooo many fish need to start golfing

I've seen Stucky wear a glove and he never catches a fish. It's a white one too. He's always singing about a rat named Ben too. I saw him and T-Dub get in a fight over it one day. Here is a pic.
