I bought a pair of these for a buddy of mine that fishes with me, as a birthday gift a few weeks ago. He got to test them out last week and was very impressed, as was I. I love my Costa's and wouldn't trade them for anything, but I must say these are good shades for $$$. I bought his at Academy though.

the magellan polarized from acadamy are 29 bucks. pretty good lenses but scratch real easy so you gotta baby em.

Taking 5 to the weigh-in occurs when opportunity meets successful execution of one's preparation.

I have a pair of Oakleys, and they are great. I try to keep them inside, but I have left them on the dash, in the truck, without any problems.

If you are having problems with the rubber "disintegrating" try wiping the rubber frame sections down occasionally. The salt from your skin is drying out the rubber slowly but surely. It's like anything else, keep it clean and serviceable and it will last a long time. You can even wipe a little "Bow to Stern" or Armor-all on the rubber to help keep it soft and supple.

Just a thought.
