I love Wright Patman. Its close to where I live, great fishing, and if you have ever eaten a channel from this lake,,,,,well its like store bought tomatoes as compared to home grown. Really!!! I can't explain it but its just true.

I actually got pretty lucky on Benbrook last week. Fished for hybrids and sandies most of the night, not much luck there so we went to the North holiday park cove and anchored. Fished 2-5ft water by reeds with fresh shad, cut in half. And caught 11 channels from 2-3 lbs each in about an hour and a half, That's the only thing that made the trip worth it LOL. But yeah that lake does usually suck
