Open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.? What the heck?

I can only imagine how long it is going to take to launch and load in December or January, when all 100 boats get there at exactly the same time...and get back to the ramp at the same time, too.

Apparently terrorists are only a threat after 4 p.m. and before 7 a.m.

I believe you have to be out of the park at 4pm. On Sunday they drove around on the loud speaker at 3pm saying get off the water.

There was a LINE of boats in front of us when we showed up Sunday at 7am...Once they started letting people in the park the line moved really quickly actually.

It all depends on who ya have in front of you and how ling they take to get it in and move outta the way. They have four or five ramps available to use so it won't take to long.

This lake is expected to be a world class carp fishery as well. I sure hope the anglers fishing it have the utmost respect for bank anglers, all species and the laws of the state. I for one plan to catch the first 40lb common carp there in the near future! I cannot wait!

PB's:
Common: 30lbs
Mirror: 14lbs
Buffalo: 56lbs
White Amur:49lbs
Blue Cat: 32lbs
Yellow Cat: 34lbs

So Luminent Energy finally throws a bone to the fisherman wanting to get on Squaw Creek and within hours of the opening date being announced folks are already complaining.... AMAZING!
