My Nav and my brothers Nav has taken us on a few different routes. If anyone goes there from DFW a lot can you tell me what the quickest route is? Keep in mind I need to stop by Lake Fork Tackle...

thanks

I think IH-20 to Hiram Rd to Willis Point. Go right on Hwy 80 in WP and go through Edgewood left on 19 to Emory, right on 69 and LFT down on the right. I go all the time and that is the shortest way from the east side of the metroplex.

If you are north or central Dallas, 30 into Rockwall, south a couple of blocks on 205, then 276 east all the way to Emory. Right on 69 to go to Lake Fork Tackle. There is no quicker way especially from Irving. This route also takes you by Rockwall Marine on 276 and Walmart in Quinlin if there are any needs at those businesses.

I go from flower Mound all of the time...Tommyc's route is the shortest or me. The problem with that route is the cops, speed limit and stop lights Quinlin..I all depends on what area of DFW you are driving from...time of day can also play a big factor...Early morning 4:00am 7:00a.m - 30 to Greenville, 69 to Emory is the way I go. Most of the time it takes me right at 2 hours door to door no matter what way I go...

Tommy that is definitely the shortest route-per miles wise..

There are two simple routes 30-69-515 & 20-19-69-515
The 30 route has to deal with downtown and the 635 exchange, if it's after 3:00pm I avoid that.
I live in Arlington near Lake Arlington so I mainly take the 20 route. It's been the most hassle free for years now, just hit the cruise control and get off at Canton hwy 19.

TommyC's route is the one I use virtually all the time. However, I agree that if you want to bypass the speed traps in Quinlan and near Tawakoni then Rodney2100 has the easiest route I-30 to Greenville and take 69 South from there to LFT.

635-30-69-515 is what I use from Richardson. Fewer backroads is my preference.

From Fork to Addison would be 515-Lake Fork Tackle-69-30-635

From NRH the hardest part of my trip is getting to 20, after that it's smooth sailing, either 360 or 820 can take up to 45 minutes just to get to 20 depending on the traffic. I like this route the best if I'm pulling a boat..if you were going at 3am and there's no traffic, I actually think the 30-69-515 route is about 7-8 miles shorter,..jime

I've done both probably 500 times each.

20-19-69-515 has no cops giving out speeding tickets. There are a ton of cops on 30 at all times of the day
