Dennis, I think you can join that day but if you've fished the lake (or he fished the lake) the same week then your disqualified. I found that out the hard way last year.

I know some folks that were in My spot the other day had over 13 lbs. with 7 fish Frog!

Fred Dooly gave an outstanding seminar on crappie fishing and sharing LOP methods and techniques to use for this tournament. If you're thinking about fishing the tournament or just simply fishing LOP, I'd strongly suggest watching the video when it becomes available on www.crappieanglersof texas.com.

LOP should be looking like chocolate milk after all the rain it's watershed just received today. 6-8 inches in about 6 hours! The lake has come up about 8 inches since I checked yesterday and I would not be surprised if it came up several feet.

Went up to the north end of the lake today to look around. Water coming in like crazy...lake probably will come up at least 4ft....maybe more.
Fishing is going to totally change in the next 48 hours. Fishing down on the lower end of the lake is going to be best for the next several days. In the next couple days you can forget fishing from Johnson Creek north.
Fish south.

I saw a couple fellars out today out in the Crestliner! Sorry didn't catch yalls name but it was a pleasure meeting you guys. Saw Jaydon and Rhonda out today but they were running in the stumps so I couldn't just go up and say howdy. Good luck on the tournament!

In the next couple days you can forget fishing from Johnson Creek north.
Fish south. Sounds like good advise. I think everyone should contiune fishing south through the weekend. Especially Saturday.

Fishing is still good south of the 155 bridge...not as muddy as I thought it would be. But, water is still pouring in on the north end.
It will be interesting to see how the fishing changes now through Saturday.
The fish are still biting...
