I did a little recon today there on River road. i did not see much...a few bass (some nice ones, one at least 5 pounds) and a tilapia

i went up and down both sides all the way to where the road crosses the river (water running over it)

where in relation to the bridge were the carp and koi?

Ted try tossing out some bread bet you can see the koi surfacing

I thought about that, but today I did not have any with me. I amy try again tomorrow if i get a chance.

Oh yeah, there were TONS of turtles.

Well, I tried again and this time threw in some old pancakes to see if I could get one ot surface, but I did not see anything.

I'm not giving up though! I may fish it for a few hours while chumming. I'll keep yall posted.

The river has some flow to it, so I'll have to use something with some weight. I figure I'll chum with cubes and use sweet corn or maize, possibly balled up bread.

We'll see if I can keep the turtles off the line!

YOu saw them? How far down were they? I'd be willing to possibly get a day in either tomorrow during the day or maybe late next week. (first part of next week is going to be COLD)

saw one huge white koi (15#'s), one small orange around 4#s, and some nice 10-20# carp. Im also willing to go out tomorrow so let me know whats up

Nothing after you left just kept swimming around my hook lol. Im just going to have to try again tomorrow or in a few days. Think I might tie some hair rigs and give them a try

i may be able to do it again next week later like thursday or friday. i think mon-wed is going to be FREEZING
