I've become a big fan of the LFT Hyperworm on carolina rig.

I've been throwing these off and on for the past few months at Fork and Falcon with good success. I typically Texas rig it on a 3/8 oz or 1/2 oz Tru Tungsten weight. Some days fish it like any other worm, and other days, I rip it off the bottom. You can feel the big paddletail thump on the pull and on the fall. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Netbait_Thumper_Worm_12pk/descpage-NBTW.html Those are very close to the ones I use. And your right about feeling them thump too! I like to fish these tx rigged with about a 3/16 oz wt and swim them thru shallow shore grass, pads, etc, like you might fish a spinnerbait.

I fish the LFT Hyperworm with a paddle tail all summer. What do you mostly fish in on fouzman, some buddies were asking me about it the other day and ive never used one, looks like it would be good on a carolina rig though. C-Rig, Texas rig and Phenix vibrating jig. Watermelon/red flk/pearl belly, blue bruiser and bama bug seem to work best for me.
Coincidence is His way of remaining anonymous.

Bass pro shops makes a nice paddle tail worm. Watermelon red. I killed the fish there at Winnsboro in March.
