I love these fish! Attitude for days, Colors that make you say "WOW look at you!". Make Great catfish bait and are Very Tasty!
Just a side note. What type of lights do you guys use in your aquariums to make their colors show up really well?

Haven't heard "COLORFUL FISH HOOK!" yet, haha just messing.. There are some really colorful 'gills and bass at the creek I fish in. I'll be sure to take some pics next time I go out..
Catch and Release fishing is a lot like golf. You don't have to eat the ball to have a good time.

Sorry, didn't read the thread for a while. I have an Exo Terra lamp that I used for my Chinese Water Dragon (died, not my fault.. had some nasty disease) but it has a 75 watt light bulb in it. You can get these at either PetSmart or Petco.

HIF what do you have in the aquarium now?
I'm thinking about getting one myself, to test baits with.
To cut down on feeding cost I'll feed them cat chow and other fish.

What fish do I have in the aquarium? Or what foliage?
I have two 3inch sunfish and 3 red belly toads. I checked with petsmart, there are okay to have. I laid out my aquarium so the sunfish can't get to the frogs anyway.
But it's a full 20-gallon tank, with around 10 of the 1$ bamboo sticks you can get at walmart or HEB. A sunken log, a floating log, and 1 plant that they can go in the shade. I.E. a plant that has the leaves above the water so they could go and hide over there.

Not my pic, but I gotta throw the orange-spotted sunfish in for consideration (have caught several of 'em, just no pics handy).
No fish is too good for the grease.

Catfish_Hunter: I like the orange spotted too. I caught many of them last year. Might go back there to see if they're still there.
