When it comes to EM it helps to have a short memory and an open mind. Those fish change a lot.

well i have only lived in the area for 2 months and have not fished any other lakes besides Lake Worth b/c it is on the base that I work at. I have caught my limit of keepers on EML for 6 trips in a row now. Nothing really big, every time I go I usually end up with one or two B/W 3-5#'s. The other 4 are usually 1-2#'s. I have found out quickly that there is no real pattern to be established. It is hit or miss fishing the deep grass. I have not caught a single fish on CB. A few here and there on SB. My best advice is to go out before the sun and throw top water for 3 hours then call it a day with what you have. It isn't worth it to stick around after 0900 to cast and pray. Make as many casts as you can in the first 3 hours you are there and go home and save your gas. As far as locations go, I run clear across the lake and fish the north side. I have caught more of the 3+ pounders on the north shores. G/L to you in your future endeavors on the lake. Personally, I am looking forward to finding a new body of water with bigger, more abundant numbers of LMB to fish on the weekends. If anyone out there can share some tips on fishing CB on EML PM me and share your insight. CB is my favorite type of fishing but I have not had any luck at EML.
