You guys need to go fishing

Never saw "Sand Bass" in the "Outdoor Annual" from TPWD. They must be Aggies too.

I believe they are actually White Bass as far as
officially, but have been Sand Bass to me all my
life, I was raised in southwest Kansas and fished
a lot in Oklahoma, and that is what I knew them
by. Lived in Colorado and Nebraska for a few
years and they were called whites, just as the
Hybrid Striper is known as a Wiper, I had some
problems there telling people that I caught
Sandies and Hybrids, but call them what you want
they are still a fun fish to catch so enjoy em.
What's in a name anyway.

SE Texas,where I mainly grew up,also we used to slaughter them on Bedias creek,and on the Trinity...and we called em White Bass.
The Crappie w ere called White Perch and the Drums were called Gasper Gou by some of the older crowd as well!

Grew up in South West Oklahoma (White Bass)TPWD (White Bass) and North Texas (Sand Bass) or Sandies but whatever you want to call them .....Let's Just call them a lot of fun to catch and good eatin also <}}}}{
