Growing up I always heard that March "comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb". Seems to me that lion is roaring back and the wind is worse in April than in March.
In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

Every weekend, I think I have a wind magnet in my boat. I have had wind for the last two years. I with you, I'm ready for some light winds so I can fish without dipping the nose of my boat. LOL Good news is, I'm better at finshing in the wind now than ever before. Speared my first wave this year, interesting but not any fun. Certainly got my attention.

"the wind is your friend" sometimes you just gotta get use to it and use the wind to your advantage

Good point. Kinda hard to make 30 MPH my friend. Need a sail. LOL Don't mind some wind but some of the stuff we have had the last two years has beem something else. Last time at Toledo Bend it was blowing so hard people were standing in their yards and on their porches watching the waves crash into the shore. It was unbelievable- 4 to 5 footers crashing into the shore.
