Shadbury...I have been trying Tuesday and Friday after work and Sunday afternoons for Benbrook. But the next two Sundays I will be at Texoma, then back into the routine...hope to see you out there sometime and Good Luck...

Steve, I was planning on going out there sunday afternoon...I've got a kitchen pass all weekend. I haven't been able to figure out this lake in 2 years so anybody who wants to meet up and try to catch a few would be great.

Yet another equipment malfunction

I will be out there every evening that I am not camping, coaching, playing softball, or too tired of fishing I will be there Saturday morning and Sunday evening, if the rain and thunderstorms hold out.

I tie a teaser about 18inches up the line from the slab. You'll catch 'em, but it'll be on the teaser lure, not the slab.

I use a #12 pet spoon as the teaser.

I heard Texoma COMPLETELY dried up yesterday. You better stay in town and show me those holes on Benbrook instead. ha!

My stepson was on his way to track practice, he goes to Southwest Christian and they were going to run down by the lake...That is over by Richardons Slough...He called and left a message and said the sandbass were surfacing all over the place. I dang near dropped everything I was doing. I still may go, but it looks like rain.

For sure I will be out there on Sunday. Will be the seapro with the t-top and the shadbury on the side..

So, is the afternoon the only time this fish have been active? I work second shift and can rarely go in the afternoon.

T-Gil...They work pretty good at first light for the first two hours, then you get to coax them to hit -- a little more work but they will still coorperate. I have seen the pattern in the morning just opposite what it is fising second shift.

Texoma dry up...it is low, but it ain't that low...

Steve...My sons both go to Lake Country Christian up at Eagle Mountain Lake and Jason (13) runs track, usually the longer distances and longer relays...not sure how old your stepson is -- maybe they have competed against each other????
