Get a job offshore Texas or Louisiana in Production. They usaully work 14 on & 14 off or 7 on & 7 off. After you come in take a day or two to get your business in line at the house and then hit the water or woods!!! make good money & get 1/2 the year off with benefits. Try it you will like it!! I did it for 25 years and I spent more time on the water & in the woods than most do in a lifetime.

Panhandling seems like the ideal vocation for t he retiree. Set your own hours, no inventory, no selling, no traveling. Find a good corner, look sickly and sad, and hold a cup out. Maybe buy some reallydark glasses(polarized so youcan use them fishing when you not panhandling) Its an all cash busines. don't have to worry about the tax man. Should be ideal.

Well the first thing you need to do is SELL the house and everything else not tied down! Then use the money and buy a nice 40-45 ft houseboat. Park it in a nice marina on the lake of your choice. Pay $200-$250 a month dock fee NO PROPERTY TAXES. Buy a smaller boat and tie it up to the back of the houseboat. ![smile smile](/forums/images/graemlins/default/smile.gif)

If your retired I'm assuming you don't want to be on your feet all day. Working at Walmart tho is not that easy, believe me. Those people work there *** off and it doesn't matter if your 16 or 70 years old. If your looking for a little play money and shift work, sit behind a cash register somewhere.

Three suggestions: 1) Do you want Fries with that?? 2) Door Greeter at Wal-Mart. 3) Find a job at a local Gun store or Tackle Shop. Every Year I'm tempted to get a part time job at BPS during Christmas...Just to get the discounts.... Seriously...It depends on what skills you have...Are you a handyman? It seems like there are plenty of opportunities for guys who are handy with tools, provided they don't want Union type wages....
