Have gone out the last few mornings and done pretty good on brush at 10'. Almost all were females about ready to pop except for a few. This morning around 9 AM, the water started blowing up around the bank for as far as I could see. Went to check it out, ton of carp. So the spawn should be happening very soon.

We went Friday night at 10:30 pm, before the storm, and was catching from the marina dock at Ben Brook.

Good luck fishing for crappie at benbrook!! I went to the Crappie house there and the owner not only sold me minnows but also offered to sell me the place!! after 2 hours of not one single bite i thought he would give me the place for free but no cigar!! Benbrook is tough to crappie fish!! better luck going to carnival and paying to catch the little fish in a bottle, u even get a prize.

Yep, it can be tough, but they can be caught.
Hey Kerry, I made that comment, because the depth they are being caught at sure sound like the concrete pier would be good right now.
