I am going to be producing a kayak tournament series at Grapevine,Ray Roberts,Benbrook and would like to invite bank fishermen to join us as this will to raise funds to buy kayaks for disadvantaged youth to learn to bass fish.
Well get ready this is gonna be fun and help raise money to buy kayaks for disadvantaged youth to learn how to kayak fish.I run Great Adventures Outdoors outreach here in Dallas GAONOW.com and our goal with this is to have a great time but also to get adults and youth into kayak fishing.
Kayak Fishing League Tournament Series 2010
Launch area TBA CPR (Sponsors TBA soon)Bass only Artificial only
$15 entry fee free BBQ and Drinks and We will have raffle items and 100% the money will go to buy kayaks for youth to use who cant afford them.
Lake Grapevine and Lake Ray Roberts and Lake Benbrook
May 22nd Grapevine
June 26th BenBrook
July 17th Ray Roberts
August 7th Grapevine
September 17th Championship Mystery lake
Well guys this has gone on long enough and i think it is time to get a tournament series going. Oh by the way this will happen no matter the number of entries 2 or 100.And i am open to suggestions as long as they are constructive to the betterment of these events.Thank you guys and lets show the youth and adults the many benefits of kayak fishing.
I will make a separate tournament for bank fishermen if you want to? Also we will have extra kayaks to fish out of for a small fee just need to let me know ahead of time.

I would like to participate, i would like to rent a yak from you for the tourneys though. I am wanting to buy a yak later this year so this will let me benefit someone and gain undaerstanding of yak fishing at the same time. great idea!!

Basswax, You invited me to go through PM's about a week ago, as much fun as it seems I can't due to the amount of gas money to drive down and back up here.. It sounds like a great time, reallywanted to go, but it's just to long of a drive. Nonetheless, good cause, and I'm sure people will have a great time..
Catch and Release fishing is a lot like golf. You don't have to eat the ball to have a good time.
