Not opposed to fishing locations...but it's gotta offer more than that. Last year, for our 10th, we went to the Gaylord Texas. Looking for something a little less expensive for our 11th. Just a quiet weekend getaway. Nothing special really. But I'd really rather have a hotel or fully furnished cabin as our RV leaves MUCH to be desired. Hopefully something within a couple hours drive from the DFW area. Dining would be a HUGE consideration since I don't want to be stuck in the kitchen. Can't think of any outdoor winter activities unless it involves snow, so I'm just looking for new places or ideas. Maybe something neat to see that someone would like to share? A hidden treasure out there?? hmmm

You might wanna look up backwoods barbie cabins in kemp texas. Couples only retreat hot tub in your cabin in a screened in porch. Two acre lake loaded with fish and only about a 1hr drive..

Early to bed
Early to rise
Fish like hell
And make up lies..
