I'm ignorant because you made a statement "True, but saving his life wasn't on my mind at that point. In fact, is was the exact opposite" and im ignorant because i felt you lack compassion? Ok i guess im ignorant. You are right i wasn't there. I just felt your statement was a little harsh but who am i? Why even try to be nice? Just leave em floating in the water

This reminds me of a cruiser that I almost hit one morning before daylight out catching bait. I was running back to my favorite bait hole and nearly hit a cruiser that was anchored out and camped out for the night without any lights on....DUMB

Thunderbolt,

Hey I have a saying for those types "They are as DUMB as a 10lb bag of Stupid". Kinda like the night I was on EM a couple of summers ago and those two guys sand bass fishing at anchor and no lights. Dang it was a close call

Hey 2fishforeverything,

I know Thunderbolt well enough to make this supporting statement, reading what he said was describing the moment that the event took place and relizing how Stupid that kayker was and could've caused a dramatic outcome to himself or the people in the boat with thunderbolt. Thunderbolt is a very compassionate and respectful individual towards all, I'm sure and to include myself has said and or typed something a little harsh about a situation that took place to describe how you felt at that moment.

I think anyone with half a brain knows that Thunderbolt didn't mean any harm or lack of compassion by his statement. The statement was a mere reflection of how frustrating the situation was for him and by god I have been in his shoes more than once.....usually on the highway...not the lake though.

Any of us that spend enough time on the road or lake have had some pretty bitter thoughts at some point.

2fish foreverything,

I agree a little harsh when read. But, only when read. If somebody does something stupid that impacts my life in a negative way. (like running over them and killing them) I would be angry that they put me in that situation with thier stupidity. It would tear me up , but it would be thier fault totally. Anyway, I too would help a standed motorist, person, or someone in need. Its just humanity. Some people dont really have that these days. Glad to hear another person does.

Lance, working on that date. My bro is taking his Dang sweet time. About to just count him out and set it up alone. let you know soon.
