Here is my advice. I have had back to back 30 fish days on Fork the past two days fishing directly in the 20mph wind and grinding it with the trolling motor. +1 on that. Most boats head to the calm areas----Big Mistake---Sometimes.

plenty of good fish and good water in little caney. put in at hideaway harbor and start fishing on the east bank and go south from there. you'll have a good day.
The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. ~John Buchan

You can get in a lot of trouble quick idling in the stumps / timber.
Seen a few that got against a stump and wave just tipped 'em over, it happens crazy fast too.

where do ya wanna fish ?,...there's a few places I can fish in Mustang when the wind is up,..I put in at Popes (usually out of the wind) and I don't have too far to go depending on the wind direction,..be careful. Mustang was hardly fishable today!!
