there is a private lake in Anna mentioned in one of y'alls posts. i really hate this, but i have to tell y'all my parents own half the property around that lake. they have had to run so many people off, i have decided to patrol it as often as i can. the lake is posted private, and if you read the description on here you know that. i can't tell you how much i hate this, but if i catch anyone on their property, i will not just run you off, i have to call the sheriff. my folks are getting on in years, and i can't have them dealing with poachers all the time. any one who wants to fish it legitimate may pm me, and when i have time to fish i'll let you know. i don't mind sharing, but they worked their butts off to get that place and i will not let them be abused for it.
if it is within my reach, I'm going to pet it.

Added a couple in Colleyville and Hurst and one for the Red River near Vernon. Also added an Academy store with a shopping basket icon. Seems useful to me to flag where we can buy fishing supplies too.

I hear a lot of people talking about Kroger Park in Allen. Which Kroger are y'all talking about? I'm trying to find a place to take my girlfriend fishing for the first time, and that place sounds consistent.

Bethany Ridge park, on Bethany Dr just east of Allen Heights. Check out the Community Lakes subforum, there are plenty of discussions there regarding it and other DFW-area ponds.

I live in McKinney and if anyone is familiar with the area there is a rather large pond at the bottom of the hill on el dorado right before you go up the hill to the 75 anyone know about this spot? Its in a neighborhood so im sure its resident only but it sure looks promising. Has anyone been here before and if so how was the fishing.
