Ray Roberts 52* today - south end.
If we concentrated on the really important stuff in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles

O.K. I was gonna take my thermometer from my aquarium (as usual) and it was gone. my wife told me it broke and she threw it away. So, does anyone use one that a bank beater can use without worry of breakage? What do you use, and where did you get it?

Lake Lewisville surface temperature today was 56 at around 1100 at Little Elm and the warmest water temperature I saw was 62, but still got skunked! It was a great way to spend the day though.

Pezz Walmart and Academy sell a Minn Kota brand digital temp gauge that takes a aa battery and has like a 5 or 6ft cord on it you could throw it out. Works good just dont use it in the rain. It was like 10bucks

Stillhouse on 3/29 before noon
River 63 degrees with current due to water release
Cedar Cap area 58 degrees. Some of the dumped cars must have had the air conditioner running when they were launched. Hope they catch the people responsible for stealing and dumping these cars.

I fished Lewiville (near Little Elm) from the bank this afternoon. I didn't do any good but the water temp was 61F. The sheallows should be good at any time now.
I made in inexpensive surface thermometer that worked great. I used a digital meat themometer, stuck it through a 2 1/2" styrofoam ball, ran a 12" piece of monofilament through the hole, attached a snap swivel to both ends and put a 1 oz sinker on the bottom swivel.
Good luck!
