Has the fishing for sripers and sandies come back yet on Whitney or Granbury?

How about Benbrook, is it any good?

Heading down there the 15th for some fun and fishing. Been there once and had no luck.
Thanks,

I too would like to try Whitney this weekend. Any idea where to start for stripers or sandies?

Three places I would try is the island out fron the dam, in front of State Park and toward the river channel, and mouth of Kings Creek.

A bad day fishin' is still better than work!
That's BOATMAN1 with the blue hat on! BUT the BOAT is fake!

Thanks Boatman I've tried the island and the state park. and I'll try the creek.
Looking forward to fishing haven't had the chance in a while. Too much work and not enough fishing! From what I remember I was thinking that October was a hot month for stripers.

Thanks to all and if anyone has a chance to go, let me know how it goes if you would

Thanks,
Shorty
