Has the fishing for sripers and sandies come back yet on Whitney or Granbury?
How about Benbrook, is it any good?

I too would like to try Whitney this weekend. Any idea where to start for stripers or sandies?

Three places I would try is the island out fron the dam, in front of State Park and toward the river channel, and mouth of Kings Creek.

I have not been on Whitney since March! I used to fish it every weekend, but I want to get back soon.

Thanks Boatman I've tried the island and the state park. and I'll try the creek. Looking forward to fishing haven't had the chance in a while. Too much work and not enough fishing! From what I remember I was thinking that October was a hot month for stripers.
Thanks to all and if anyone has a chance to go, let me know how it goes if you would
Thanks, Shorty
