Ah now I see. Y'all wanted it put back so that y'all would have a chance to catch it. Shoulda been there before him I reckon. Like most that have said he shoulda put it back would have fished this small body of water anyways. Yeah right. Oh, wait a minute. Are y'all like the guys that wait for boat shows to gather then run full blast to it cause y'all caint find your own fish? yeah, that must be the ticket. Get over it. The guy did what he had a right to do. Congrats to him. Go catch your own trophy fish, take a pic, put it back then come on here and brag about what a good conservationist you are. That would be your right, but to dog on a guy cause he kept it is freakin childish, like someone else said earlier about me, "real mature". Flame away children! Relax my man...Why so agressive???

All right, so what's the official word on this fish? The morning after this fish was caught, I receiced a phone call saying a hispanic couple bank fishing caught it. Then I see a pic with this guy holding hear. I've seen on here they found her floating, she was alive, she was dead, they ate her, their registering her, they couldn't register cause they didn't catch her....etc. Who here knows what REALLY happened. All I know is I was out there all day the day this fish was caught, found, whatever and never even seen or heard anything of this fish. I did see a hispanic couple bank fishing when I was leaving. I don't what to believe here.

I talked to the lady at the bait shop and she said it was alive and full o eggs. Waste of some good eggs to me. I wish he woulda atleast called tp&w and to the guy gettin mad because we wanted her released: it's not about keeping the fish it's about keeping a fish full of eggs just so you can have it on your wall. A free replica was a phone call away

Great fish.I think that most avid or weekend anglers like myself would have called TPW,or measured, taken pic's and released that huge fish.To some folks that don't fish every weekend that fish was huge meal or a wall mount. The fish pictured below, was released that was my choice. That was their choice,it's their fish. What a nice catch congrat's to whoever caught her.
