No not a Texas only forum, they are just giving you a hard time.
Throw something slow falling/moving, senko or wacky worm.
Also perhaps downsize what you are throwing now, perhaps the fish in this pond arent very big???? just thinking outloud.
Have you seen fish in here? visuals walking the bank? fish busting the surface? big wakes in the water as you are walking down the bank?

I agree. How proof positive are you that there are fish (bass) in this pond?

I have fished on this pond many times, and i know there are many fish in it from expirience. I also watched some ice fisherman get some nice bass out of it this winter.

Bettle spins and H&H;s always kill in pond down here. Tiny torpedos are deadly in a little warmer water too.

Try a suspending Jerkbait (Rattling Rouge, bomber long A) crank in down the deepest part and let it sit still then give it a few more jerks and let it set. Try letting it set for up to 10 to 15 seconds before moving it again.

I'd wait till August when the water temp might hit 60*.

Any type of structure other than grass? Are there any stumps, rocky shorlines? Try throwing a suspending jerkbait, rat-l-trap, or shallow running crankbait. Anything will hit a trap.

there is a lot of overhanging bushes and branches... And there is also a public dam to control the water that goes into the river.
