Not new, but last weekend was good. Lots of fish between the two rapids. I caught mine on a flyrod with a sinking line--chartreuse and white clousers on the bottom. I caught several gaspergous, too. Most of the fish were males.

Caught 15 this weekend, on a pearl sassy shad with a 1/4oz white rooster tail type head. I was fishing just below the bridge past gravel crossing

Thanks for the update, might try that way next week. crappie will hit a bass plug while trolling, if they can get it in their mouths, its on......

Just to give every one a heads up I caught ten nice white bass at the spillway at chalk ridge fall. Including one really big one that was 17 inches and around three pounds easy.

I have no idea where chalk ridge fall is. I went to Youngsport but didnt have any luck. The water sure was cold there yesterday.

yeah if you go to the far side of the spillway They are in there thick right now. But all of the ones I cleaned were pretty close to dropping eggs so I dont know how much longer they will be there for.

how far of a paddle from the launch at gravel crossing are the rapids? I really want to kayak up there and do some fishing
